Position Summary:

Play a strategic role in the growth of Hart Advisors, specifically promoting Hart’s CMBS assumption services.

  • Acquiring new business relationships/clients by positioning Hart’s value proposition and developing business relationships through networking, professional associations, cold calling, referrals, business functions and events.

  • Make 10-12 cold contacts per day from a list of qualified leads (provided for you and developed on your own).

  • Work collaboratively and closely with existing assumptions team members.

  • Draft various correspondence to existing and prospective clients. Relentless follow-up capability!

  • Disciplined approach to record lead activity into CRM software on a daily basis.

  • Must be able to explain, demonstrate and simplify financial solutions to prospective clients.

  • Understand the relationship between the customers’ business and how all related services can help overcome their challenges and capture opportunities – cross sell.

  • Attend local events, networking and promote Hart’s services.

  • Ability to partner/collaborate with other team members to place mortgage loans or execute advisory assignments.

  • Work closely with Marketing and Public Relations to ensure market messaging is consistent and targeted at the primary customer audience the company seeks to attract.

  • Meet or exceed monthly and yearly revenue objectives/quotas.

  • Abide by the values and mission of the company, possess exceptional integrity and personal judgment, while maintaining customer service and relationships in order to maintain and grow the organizational reputation and brand.

  • Make significant contributions to a broad range of high impact initiatives designed to support the development and overall effectiveness of the organization.

  • Ability to proactively identify and address the root cause of client issues and recommend actions for change that promote a positive outcome for the client.


  • Demonstrated sales ability (identify, nurture and close revenue opportunities); assertive, persistent, good listener, cold calling and networking enthusiast and self-motivated.

  • Practical problem-solving and interpretive skills.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in acquiring and nurturing new business relationships in a business/professional services environment.

  • A thorough understanding of a service-based culture and the importance of customer experience in today’s business environment.

  • Transaction management skills derived from a corporate development, leasing, investment banking or mortgage banking role.

  • Dependability, integrity, and willingness to learn.

  • Good time management and multi-tasking skills.

  • Adaptability, flexibility, and champion of change for improvement and efficiencies.

  • Commercial Real Estate experience a plus.

  • DRIVEN for success.


  • Undergraduate degree in Real Estate, Finance or Business.

  • Minimum three years relevant work experience in the Real Estate industry (Commercial Real Estate, CMBS, Appraisal or Mortgage Banking).
